Fire Doors: From Testing to Certification and Beyond

This webinar will give an introduction to U.S. fire door test methods and requirements, as well as key IBC requirements for fire door assemblies and other opening protectives.  The basic aspects of fire door testing and their connection to the IBC will be discussed.  

We will review the process for third-party product certification, and will take a look at example fire door and frame listings from the Intertek product certification directory.  

Lastly, aspects of NFPA 80 that pertain to swinging doors with builders' hardware will be discussed, finishing with a brief overview of field labeling.
